Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Taskent JK's Baybars Cabir started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Taskent JK's Ali Hamza Yuvakuran got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Necip Fazıl Uğurlu made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Fikret Ülmen sent off a good shot on target. Necip Fazıl Uğurlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baybars Cabir in the 8th minute of the match. Necip Fazıl Uğurlu was a little too slow when Özal Raid got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Hamza Yuvakuran during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Ali Hamza Yuvakuran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Burak Fidan kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Necip Okatay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Mustafa Numan Bayman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Mersin İdman Yurdu booed when Taskent JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Hamza Yuvakuran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Mersin İdman Yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Baybars Cabir came free, but Necip Fazıl Uğurlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Necip Okatay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaffar Açıker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 34th minute of the match, Fikret Ülmen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Necip Fazıl Uğurlu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 35 minutes, Burak Fidan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taskent JK and the Mersin İdman Yurdu players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mersin İdman Yurdu booed when Taskent JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burak Fidan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Necip Okatay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaffar Açıker having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Mustafa Numan Bayman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mersin İdman Yurdu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Numan Bayman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Necip Okatay came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Mersin İdman Yurdu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necip Okatay couldn't finish the play. Gaffar Açıker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mustafa Numan Bayman went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

56 minutes into the match, Mersin İdman Yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Baybars Cabir came free, but Necip Fazıl Uğurlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes Taskent JK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Hamza Yuvakuran. 60 minutes into the game, Baybars Cabir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taskent JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mersin İdman Yurdu the free kick. Mersin İdman Yurdu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taskent JK the free kick. The supporters of Taskent JK booed when Mersin İdman Yurdu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Asım İlighan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Numan Bayman struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Gaffar Açıker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mersin İdman Yurdu. Necip Fazıl Uğurlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fikret Ülmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes of play Taskent JK's Baybars Cabir was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The Mersin İdman Yurdu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mersin İdman Yurdu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
