The Kocasinan SK fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Kocasinan SK's German Gagriel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aktan Çoğahan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turan Uğurtan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Ahmet Hamdi Acunman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aktan Çoğahan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Kirli FK's Ahmet Kağan Korgan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aktan Çoğahan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Turan Uğurtan scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aktan Çoğahan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Kocasinan SK's Yıldıray Zevahir threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from German Gagriel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If German Gagriel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. Aktan Çoğahan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turan Uğurtan, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After 54 minutes, Savaşer Pektürk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kocasinan SK and the Kirli FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmet Koralp Gürgen lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kocasinan SK! 58 minutes into the game, Kirli FK's Ahmet Hamdi Acunman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aktan Çoğahan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 61 minutes into the match, Turan Uğurtan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aktan Çoğahan. Kocasinan SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Turan Uğurtan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Turan Uğurtan got free with Aktan Çoğahan in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Necip Cansoy scored 3-3 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yıldıray Zevahir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yıldıray Zevahir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Duďak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Turan Uğurtan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aktan Çoğahan. Kocasinan SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Turan Uğurtan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. German Gagriel charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Gagriel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Arın Ferhat Bozdağ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Kocasinan SK's goalkeeper Aktan Çoğahan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Turan Uğurtan. Aktan Çoğahan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Hamdi Acunman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aktan Çoğahan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Hamdi Acunman in the 93rd minute of the match. Necip Cansoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Yıldıray Zevahir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Duďak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray Zevahir having to interfere. The Kocasinan SK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kirli FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Kirli FK.
