With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Stenman in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doğuş Rafi saved hacettepespor from getting behind. Gani Çakır kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Hopa's Ľubomír Kozák played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burç Şömel in the 10th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind hacettepespor's goalkeeper Doğuş Rafi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökçen Ceri in the 20th minute of play forced Hopa's goalkeeper Ľubomír Kozák to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melih Cevdet Tolay hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Melih Cevdet Tolay kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ľubomír Kozák made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökçen Ceri in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burç Şömel in the 31st minute of play forced Hopa's goalkeeper Ľubomír Kozák to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burç Şömel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ľubomír Kozák tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gökçen Ceri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Burç Şömel was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gökçen Ceri got free with Ľubomír Kozák in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henry Stenman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the hacettepespor defense, Henry Stenman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doğuş Rafi. The hacettepespor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doğuş Rafi should have stopped the shot. After 71 played minutes hacettepespor got a freekick which was hit by Baran Cömert. In the 74th minute of the match, Gökçen Ceri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ľubomír Kozák was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hopa's Ľubomír Kozák proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Hopa from getting a goal against them. Henry Stenman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğuş Rafi having to interfere. Gani Çakır took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Doğuş Rafi. hacettepespor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Gökçen Ceri managed to get in a good position for a shot. hacettepespor's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökçen Ceri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ľubomír Kozák breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Burç Şömel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ľubomír Kozák having to interfere. Gökçen Ceri was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
