In the 18th minute, Faruk Nafiz Özbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orkun Hürsev, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 36 played minutes Gülsehir got a freekick which was hit by Erenay İsmail. İlhami Kutlucan struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. When Garip Tunçbay fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gülsehir's protests and gave Garip Tunçbay a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Gülsehir got a freekick which was hit by Garip Tunçbay.
