Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After 15 played minutes, Cibali SK's Kılıçalp Ulukut shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Semih Başkaya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cibali SK reached it. Şaban Ayık scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Semih Başkaya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Semih Başkaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şaban Ayık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şaban Ayık's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Semih Başkaya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Edirnekapi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Cibali SK. İstemihan Adılhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Abay Keçecioğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rasim Tümenbay was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Şükrü Harzemşah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Cibali SK's Şaban Ayık nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Semih Başkaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Şaban Ayık had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. If Yücel Asker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Edirnekapi got a freekick which was hit by Selahaddin Vural. After a defensive mix-up in Edirnekapi's zone, Şaban Ayık stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Semih Başkaya came out of the goal and Şaban Ayık tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Edirnekapi's Kuddusî Nuh got a free kick in the 89th minute.
