Kazan's Burak Okcan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Recep Talha Özyurek in the 11 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Sozbey Fc's zone, Vahit Akbatu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Umut Eryavuz came out of the goal and Vahit Akbatu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sozbey Fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Vahit Akbatu scored to the left of an out of position Umut Eryavuz, making the score, 1-0. Umut Hizanlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Galip Hedef took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mert Yenal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ahmet Orhan Vecih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vahit Akbatu to strike the kick off in the second half. Vahit Akbatu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umut Eryavuz having to interfere. In the 56th minute Umut Hizanlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Galip Hedef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Galip Hedef made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Orhan Vecih in the 63rd minute. Ali Galip Hedef showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ediz Zeyyat, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Silvestre Avellaneda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Umut Eryavuz. Sozbey Fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mert Yenal's late challenge caught a Kazan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mert Yenal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Sozbey Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mert Yenal to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Ahmet Efe Ülgen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Orhan Vecih could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ali Galip Hedef made a huge save. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sozbey Fc's goalkeeper Umut Eryavuz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Özal Adar kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kazan fully deserved thier win.
