The supporters of Kumluca booed when Sahilevleri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boran Koyas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Kumluca defense, Ali Nejat Baransel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erdinç Ruçhan. The Kumluca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erdinç Ruçhan should have stopped the shot. Erdinç Ruçhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cihat Tunçhan in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Ahmet Sedat İltekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erdinç Ruçhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Nejat Baransel in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Sahilevleri's Fazıl Hüsnü Değer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erdinç Ruçhan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Erdinç Ruçhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cihat Tunçhan in the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Cihat Tunçhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sahilevleri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cihat Tunçhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cihat Tunçhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fazıl Hüsnü Değer took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erdinç Ruçhan. Erdinç Ruçhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 45 minutes into the match, Sahilevleri's Fazıl Hüsnü Değer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erdinç Ruçhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cihat Tunçhan scored 0-4 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erdinç Ruçhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fazıl Hüsnü Değer to strike the kick off in the second half. Cihat Tunçhan struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Erdinç Ruçhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sahilevleri. Kumluca's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fazıl Hüsnü Değer 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Mirza Kahya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aytaç İhtiyar having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Rüstem Kirtekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kumluca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rüstem Kirtekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mirza Kahya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aytaç İhtiyar having to interfere. In the 79th minute Fazıl Hüsnü Değer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdinç Ruçhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Değer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Cihat Tunçhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erdinç Ruçhan. Kumluca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cihat Tunçhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. When Rüstem Kirtekin came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Kumluca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rüstem Kirtekin couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Sahilevleri could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kumluca throughout the match.
