Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aybar Battal started the match with the kick off. Lemi Uludoğan charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lemi Uludoğan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lemi Uludoğan to maneuver through the defense. Aybar Battal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute Aybar Battal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirza Aktan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hüsmen Yordam came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüsmen Yordam couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's Gazanfer Bender sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hüseyin Rahmi Taşcan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Menderes JK's goal looked a bit too open when Gazanfer Bender came free, but Hüseyin Rahmi Taşcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Şahin Orkut hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Sermet Sabih got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Aybar Battal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray's Mirza Aktan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gazanfer Bender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Hüsmen Yordam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hüseyin Rahmi Taşcan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when Menderes JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaptan Yasık didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gazanfer Bender struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Hüseyin Rahmi Taşcan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hüsmen Yordam was the one to do the kick off. Aybar Battal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mirza Aktan having to make a save. Hüseyin Rahmi Taşcan made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Gazanfer Bender sent off a good shot on target. Erhan Yılkan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mirza Aktan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After 64 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Ozan Taşkın. Aybar Battal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Menderes JK booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lemi Uludoğan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhan Yılkan in the 74th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Mirza Aktan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erhan Yılkan in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mirza Aktan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Menderes JK's Aybar Battal got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Tansu Ziverbey came free, but Mirza Aktan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Erhan Yılkan came free, but Mirza Aktan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aybar Battal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirza Aktan having to interfere.
