Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, ANKARA SK's goal looked a bit too open when Enes Sarik came free, but Rafettin Baykurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arif Ensar Dahi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafettin Baykurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enes Sarik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15thth minute of the game Enes Sarik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ANKARA SK's Rafettin Baykurt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the ANKARA SK defense, Cemalettin Sezer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafettin Baykurt. The ANKARA SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafettin Baykurt should have stopped the shot. Arif Ensar Dahi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okanalp Polathan having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Ankaragücü FK got a freekick which was hit by Hüsnü Akdemirci. Enes Sarik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rafettin Baykurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Cemalettin Sezer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafettin Baykurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kılıçalp İmge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafettin Baykurt having to interfere. In the 40thth minute of the game Gürol Acabey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ankaragücü FK's Okanalp Polathan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Mümtazer Savtur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ankaragücü FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mümtazer Savtur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafettin Baykurt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gürol Acabey to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Hüsnü Akdemirci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ankaragücü FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hüsnü Akdemirci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enes Sarik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rafettin Baykurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Özgür Doğanay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cemalettin Sezer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mümtazer Savtur's late challenge caught a ANKARA SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mümtazer Savtur helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ANKARA SK booed when Ankaragücü FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mümtazer Savtur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 minutes, Kılıçalp İmge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ankaragücü FK and the ANKARA SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kılıçalp İmge hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, ANKARA SK's goalkeeper Rafettin Baykurt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enes Sarik. Enes Sarik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rafettin Baykurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ankaragücü FK's Cemalettin Sezer got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Okanalp Polathan came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by ANKARA SK's Gürol Acabey. But to his dismay, Gürol Acabey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 87 played minutes ANKARA SK got a freekick which was hit by Arif Ensar Dahi. Arif Ensar Dahi struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Okanalp Polathan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ANKARA SK. 92 minutes into the match, ANKARA SK's goal looked a bit too open when Cemalettin Sezer came free, but Rafettin Baykurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gürol Acabey took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Okanalp Polathan. Okanalp Polathan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. ANKARA SK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
