The long shot by Celalettin Akkılıç in the 14th minute really tested Kutlualp Taygun's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cihat Tuğaltay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BEŞİKTAŞ's Cihat Tuğaltay got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of BEŞİKTAŞ booed when Beyagac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cabbar Baytüzün didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kutlualp Taygun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dursun Ali Necdet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Songur Kunter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Cihat Tuğaltay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cihat Tuğaltay kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Kazım Semih hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beyagac were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after BEŞİKTAŞ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rıdvan Muhammed took the corner.

The wind increased when Songur Kunter made the kick off in the second half. When Bilal Falcıoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beyagac's protests and gave Bilal Falcıoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Müslüm Pekant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cihat Tuğaltay in the 57th minute. Erkin Ozan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Kutlualp Taygun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in BEŞİKTAŞ's zone, Dursun Ali Necdet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kutlualp Taygun came out of the goal and Dursun Ali Necdet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erkin Ozan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutlualp Taygun having to interfere. Kutlualp Taygun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dursun Ali Necdet, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Erkin Ozan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Kutlualp Taygun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dursun Ali Necdet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kutlualp Taygun was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 95th minute Songur Kunter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müslüm Pekant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Songur Kunter in the 97th minute of play forced Beyagac's goalkeeper Müslüm Pekant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
