The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yavuz Selimhan Kabak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Özkan Tibet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes Tünel got a freekick which was hit by Artur Cieliczka. Ahmet Gökalp Salah made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Yavuz Selimhan Kabak sent off a good shot on target. Tünel's Ahmet Gökalp Salah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruhi Kürşat in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Tayfun Salat lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Ahmet Gökalp Salah. The supporters of Selamicesme SK booed when Tünel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özkan Tibet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdulkerim Aktaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Seçkin İlbilge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Artur Cieliczka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Lindgren hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ahmet Gökalp Salah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mert Hançer in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdulkerim Aktaç to make the kick off. Ahmet Gökalp Salah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Selimhan Kabak, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 59th minute, Mert Hançer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Gökalp Salah was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Sarp Özdel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Gökalp Salah having to interfere. Abdulkerim Aktaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seçkin İlbilge having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Tayfun Salat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Gökalp Salah was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 85th minute Yavuz Selimhan Kabak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Gökalp Salah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Gökalp Salah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sarp Özdel, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute Yavuz Selimhan Kabak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Gökalp Salah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Yavuz Selimhan Kabak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Gökalp Salah. Tünel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yavuz Selimhan Kabak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Selamicesme SK fully deserved thier win.
