Doğan Sendur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yavuz Selimhan Kabak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğan Sendur having to interfere. Seçkin İlbilge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semi Çağan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Sarp Özdel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Selamicesme SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bozüyük the free kick. In the 18th minute Semi Çağan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seçkin İlbilge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hüseyin Cahit Gümüşsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hüseyin Cahit Gümüşsoy struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Seçkin İlbilge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bozüyük. When Bozüyük's Semi Çağan in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mert Hançer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Doğan Sendur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bozüyük's goalkeeper Doğan Sendur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Yavuz Selimhan Kabak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Selamicesme SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yavuz Selimhan Kabak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doğan Sendur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mert Hançer to strike the kick off in the second half. Yavuz Selimhan Kabak struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Doğan Sendur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yavuz Selimhan Kabak in the 86th minute. If Yavuz Selimhan Kabak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Seçkin İlbilge showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Selamicesme SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Selamicesme SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
