In a very dangerous position, a player in MUŞ SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Arif Egemen Güneş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Tayyip Tarab made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, MUŞ SK's goal looked a bit too open when Erdoğan Urgun came free, but Göktuğ Cilasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erdoğan Urgun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Göktuğ Cilasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ataol Recep sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the game, istanbul SK's Ataol Recep nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göktuğ Cilasun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Duran Titiz kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Mustafa Haydar Tuğbay, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Asım Çelenk in the 43rd minute of play forced istanbul SK's goalkeeper Tayyip Tarab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes, Efe Ünal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MUŞ SK and the istanbul SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Efe Ünal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arif Egemen Güneş to make the kick off. Ataol Recep's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Göktuğ Cilasun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. istanbul SK's Ataol Recep got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erdoğan Urgun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 67 minutes, Ataol Recep managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. istanbul SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ataol Recep was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arif Egemen Güneş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, MUŞ SK's Baran Alp Açar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tayyip Tarab narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, istanbul SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Haydar Tuğbay to maneuver through the defense. Koray Baykal fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 73rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. When Nuratay Akçakoca fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored istanbul SK's protests and gave Nuratay Akçakoca a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, istanbul SK's Nuratay Akçakoca got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in istanbul SK's zone, Arif Egemen Güneş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayyip Tarab came out of the goal and Arif Egemen Güneş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baran Alp Açar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayyip Tarab having to interfere. Tayyip Tarab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duran Titiz in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Ataol Recep reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Göktuğ Cilasun. The goal made the score 1-4. Arif Egemen Güneş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tayyip Tarab having to make a save. When Erdoğan Urgun came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the istanbul SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erdoğan Urgun couldn't finish the play. Tayyip Tarab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arif Egemen Güneş's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched istanbul SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
