Berker Rıza Haneci ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in KÖTÜADAMLAR FC's zone, Eray Secaat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atabek Nefi came out of the goal and Eray Secaat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Mehmet Çağrı Korcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KÖTÜADAMLAR FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Çağrı Korcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harbiye's Berker Rıza Haneci got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Çağrı Korcan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Harbiye's Turgay Tekindağ got control of the ball when Servet Yalçuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Berker Rıza Haneci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Servet Yalçuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, KÖTÜADAMLAR FC's goal looked a bit too open when Berker Rıza Haneci came free, but Atabek Nefi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Harbiye booed when KÖTÜADAMLAR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökalp İlhanoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Orhun Beyhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
