After a defensive mix-up in Yesilköy's zone, Mustafa Hamit Akansel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muhittin Serkan came out of the goal and Mustafa Hamit Akansel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hayri Afşar kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. AKCAKÖY's Mustafa Hamit Akansel got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Fatih Metiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celil Erdoğdu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necmettin Onuk in the 33rd minute of play. Rüknettin Tuğalp kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Yesilköy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mustafa Hamit Akansel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 39th minute, Ahmet Fikret Çelen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celil Erdoğdu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to AKCAKÖY getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Osman Bağcıoğlu hit a great ball. The AKCAKÖY players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yesilköy were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mustafa Hamit Akansel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Hamit Akansel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Muhittin Serkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Fatih Metiner might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celil Erdoğdu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Fatih Metiner ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmet Fikret Çelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Celil Erdoğdu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muhittin Serkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Hamit Akansel in the 66th minute of the match. Kerem Akbayrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mustafa Hamit Akansel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celil Erdoğdu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necmettin Onuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Mustafa Hamit Akansel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to AKCAKÖY getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. İsmail Orhun Akçay hit a great ball. Ahmet Fikret Çelen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celil Erdoğdu having to interfere. Yesilköy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
