Sabri Uğur might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zekai Sökmensu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sabri Uğur ran back to his position shaking his head. 4 minutes into the match, Barbaros Vefalı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zekai Sökmensu. ULUTEPE SPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barbaros Vefalı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Sabri Uğur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Fedai Şendoğan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ULUTEPE SPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedai Şendoğan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Sabri Uğur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zekai Sökmensu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Hasan Akasoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fedai Şendoğan in the 36th minute. Zekai Sökmensu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabri Uğur in the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Fedai Şendoğan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ergin Hekimbaşı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zekai Sökmensu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 54th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. 58 minutes into the match, ULUTEPE SPOR's goalkeeper Zekai Sökmensu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barbaros Vefalı. Göktan Başoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, BAYBURTSPOR's Demir Suergin tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Özdemir Yükselir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Özdemir Yükselir managed to get in a good position for a shot. ULUTEPE SPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Özdemir Yükselir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hasan Akasoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute Fedai Şendoğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hasan Akasoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fedai Şendoğan came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the ULUTEPE SPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fedai Şendoğan couldn't finish the play. Hasan Akasoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göktan Başoğlu in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Sabri Uğur managed to get in a good position for a shot. BAYBURTSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabri Uğur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zekai Sökmensu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the game, Özdemir Yükselir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Hasan Akasoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Buğrahan Acartürk kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. ULUTEPE SPOR's Özdemir Yükselir got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fedai Şendoğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fedai Şendoğan struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hasan Akasoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ULUTEPE SPOR. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BAYBURTSPOR's goalkeeper Hasan Akasoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. BAYBURTSPOR were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over ULUTEPE SPOR's much stronger midfield.
