Behzat Perva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Gazi Kutsalan made a huge save. After 19 minutes, Halit Ziya Hanefi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beşiktaş and the Mahalle Takımı players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Beşiktaş got a freekick which was hit by Halit Ziya Hanefi. A hard shot by Selim Gündüz from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Gazi Kutsalan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Güneş Başoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aziz Osmanoğulları had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reis Taluy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gazi Kutsalan having to interfere. Mustafa Necati Kumukbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Osmanoğulları, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Aziz Osmanoğulları shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Necati Kumukbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reis Taluy made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Aziz Osmanoğulları managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beşiktaş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aziz Osmanoğulları was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Behzat Perva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gazi Kutsalan having to interfere. When Behzat Perva fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mahalle Takımı's protests and gave Behzat Perva a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mahalle Takımı getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Behzat Perva hit a great ball. Güneş Başoğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Mustafa Necati Kumukbay skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gazi Kutsalan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behzat Perva, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Güneş Başoğlu struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Mustafa Necati Kumukbay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beşiktaş. After a rather tough play, Beşiktaş's Halit Ziya Hanefi got a free kick in the 76th minute. Gazi Kutsalan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reis Taluy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
