Kerem Demirtuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kamuran Bircanoğlu struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Pars Özgen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samandagi SK. After 20 minutes of play, Samandagi SK's Ahmet Hamdi Mennan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pars Özgen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Necip Fazıl Kaşif could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Kerem Demirtuğ made a huge save. Pars Özgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamuran Bircanoğlu in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Samandagi SK booed when Battalgazi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Ekrem İldemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Samandagi SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Songurhan Lütfullah to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Özbek Toran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerem Demirtuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kamuran Bircanoğlu made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Battalgazi JK's Güvenç Yanaç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kerem Demirtuğ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kerem Demirtuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güvenç Yanaç in the 56th minute of the match. Güvenç Yanaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Samandagi SK's goal looked a bit too open when Özbek Toran came free, but Kerem Demirtuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Güvenç Yanaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerem Demirtuğ having to interfere. Özbek Toran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kerem Demirtuğ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Battalgazi JK's Halil Can Avcu got a free kick in the 77th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Songurhan Lütfullah during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Samandagi SK got a freekick which was hit by Songurhan Lütfullah. After having played for 85 minutes, Ahmet Hamdi Mennan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samandagi SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Hamdi Mennan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 minutes, Coşkun Sulhi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Battalgazi JK and the Samandagi SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Battalgazi JK's Coşkun Sulhi got a free kick in the 87th minute. Battalgazi JK's Güvenç Yanaç got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Battalgazi JK's Pars Özgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamuran Bircanoğlu in the 94th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Necip Fazıl Kaşif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
