Asım Arif Soysan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedirhan Tozun having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tümer Sadiray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bedirhan Tozun was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tümer Sadiray in the 9th minute of play forced Marmaragücü's goalkeeper Bedirhan Tozun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Marmaragücü's Arif Gaffar İzgü got a free kick in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Tümer Sadiray had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bedirhan Tozun. Marmaragücü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tümer Sadiray was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Marmaragücü's zone, Tümer Sadiray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bedirhan Tozun came out of the goal and Tümer Sadiray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bedirhan Tozun came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by cimbom27's Münir Önateş. But to his dismay, Münir Önateş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Asım Arif Soysan came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the cimbom27 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asım Arif Soysan couldn't finish the play. Bedirhan Tozun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asım Arif Soysan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tümer Sadiray in the 42nd minute of play forced Marmaragücü's goalkeeper Bedirhan Tozun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Asım Arif Soysan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tümer Sadiray might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bedirhan Tozun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tümer Sadiray ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
