The tension between the Gazze and the Istanbulspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Istanbulspor booed when Gazze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denizhan Zülfikar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinçer Oyanalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil Ezgü having to interfere. Dinçer Oyanalps short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Halil Ezgü to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Devlet Eygül kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Kuddusî Ustaoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Bedri Çetinsoy in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Gazze booed when Istanbulspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devlet Eygül didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Bedri Çetinsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Ustaoğlu having to interfere. If Hüseyin Cahit Ungan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hüseyin Cahit Ungan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Halil Ezgü having to make a save. Dinçer Oyanalp took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Halil Ezgü. Halil Ezgü dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orhan Seyfi Kaman made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Istanbulspor's goal looked a bit too open when Hüseyin Cahit Ungan came free, but Halil Ezgü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dinçer Oyanalp in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halil Ezgü prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gazze's Dinçer Oyanalp got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Istanbulspor's Halil Ezgü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Cahit Ungan in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Mehmet Bedri Çetinsoy could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Kuddusî Ustaoğlu however easily saved by the left post. Kuddusî Ustaoğlu made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Mehmet Bedri Çetinsoy sent off a good shot on target. Gazze's Kuddusî Ustaoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orhan Seyfi Kaman in the 70th minute of play. After 72 played minutes Istanbulspor got a freekick which was hit by Devlet Eygül. Orhan Seyfi Kaman might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kuddusî Ustaoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orhan Seyfi Kaman ran back to his position shaking his head. Mehmet Bedri Çetinsoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kuddusî Ustaoğlu having to make a save. Hüseyin Cahit Ungan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil Ezgü having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Hüseyin Cahit Ungan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Halil Ezgü was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Atıf Regaip during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gazze's Ali Atıf Regaip got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Istanbulspor's Orhan Seyfi Kaman in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gazze's goalie prevented a goal. Gazze's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
