Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vahit Erkılınç made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute of the match Kutalp Öveç shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Semi Başkaya showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vahit Erkılınç charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vahit Erkılınç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vahit Erkılınç hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Hakkı Onur Ezgü's late challenge caught a Samsun FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hakkı Onur Ezgü helped the player get up and apologised. Hakkı Onur Ezgü kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Yusuf Ziya Kargin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Semi Başkaya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Genco Yergin kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Esentepe got a freekick which was hit by Serdar Alansoy. Esentepe's Semi Başkaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caner Camcı in the 18th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Esentepe's Vahit Erkılınç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tan İsiman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caner Camcı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Semi Başkaya made a huge save. Caner Camcı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yusuf Ziya Kargin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Yusuf Ziya Kargin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samsun FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yusuf Ziya Kargin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Semi Başkaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caner Camcı to make the kick off. Ahmet Oğuz Gündüz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Caner Camcı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esentepe's Semi Başkaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yusuf Ziya Kargin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Semi Başkaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Caner Camcı sped through Esentepe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Semi Başkaya. Semi Başkaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caner Camcı's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Semi Başkaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hıncal Mengübay in the 65th minute of play. If Caner Camcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caner Camcı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semi Başkaya having to interfere. Serdar Alansoy hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caner Camcı in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Semi Başkaya saved Esentepe from getting behind. 84 minutes into the game, Ahmet Oğuz Gündüz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esentepe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samsun FK the free kick. A collision led to Esentepe getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Samsun FK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
