Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Behiç Bengialp got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Saphane SK's zone, Rafettin Taşan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Galip Yenisey came out of the goal and Rafettin Taşan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Aktan Enginer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nurtekin Okatan in the 14th minute of play forced Saphane SK's goalkeeper Galip Yenisey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Rafettin Taşan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köprüköy FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafettin Taşan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nurtekin Okatan in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Galip Yenisey saved Saphane SK from getting behind. Nurtekin Okatan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Galip Yenisey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nurtekin Okatan in the 29th minute of the match. Nurtekin Okatan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Galip Yenisey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galip Yenisey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafettin Taşan, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th match minute, Köprüköy FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aktan Enginer to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Köprüköy FK's zone, Behiç Bengialp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azim Işınbay came out of the goal and Behiç Bengialp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nurtekin Okatan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Galip Yenisey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute Rafettin Taşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galip Yenisey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nurtekin Okatan to strike the kick off in the second half. Rafettin Taşan in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Galip Yenisey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Köprüköy FK booed when Saphane SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilla Bumin Eker didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nurtekin Okatan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Saphane SK's Atilla Bumin Eker got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute of the match İlbey Oymen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Galip Yenisey skillfully saved the ball. Azim Işınbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behiç Bengialp in the 68th minute of play. If Nurtekin Okatan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Saphane SK getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gökhan Keçecioğlu hit a great ball. Galip Yenisey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nurtekin Okatan in the 81st minute of play. Nurtekin Okatan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Galip Yenisey having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Reşit Eraksan made a precise shot to the right of Azim Işınbay. Köprüköy FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aktan Enginer in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Galip Yenisey saved Saphane SK from getting behind. Many of Köprüköy FK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Köprüköy FK may have spent more time on the ball, but Saphane SK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
