In the 11th minute Bedirhan Bolat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaptan Sabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Şahin Oker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oğuzhan Ünver kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Sancar Baştürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaptan Sabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Kesan SK got a freekick which was hit by Arkın Aytuğ. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sancar Baştürk in the 38th minute of play forced Cerrahpasa FK's goalkeeper Kaptan Sabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th play minute Hüsnü Rasif came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Çağan İskenderoğlu. 1-0. Bedirhan Bolat took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kaptan Sabi. Kaptan Sabi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Kamuran Tolunay made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hüsnü Rasif in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Çağan İskenderoğlu saved Kesan SK from getting behind. Hüsnü Rasif might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Çağan İskenderoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hüsnü Rasif ran back to his position shaking his head. Bedirhan Bolat might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kaptan Sabi. The tension between the Cerrahpasa FK and the Kesan SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Cerrahpasa FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamuran Tolunay to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes Kesan SK got a freekick which was hit by Arkın Aytuğ. After some careless play in the Kesan SK defense, Kamuran Tolunay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Çağan İskenderoğlu. The Kesan SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Çağan İskenderoğlu should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Cerrahpasa FK's Kaptan Sabi got control of the ball when Bedirhan Bolat tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Gani Özinan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Ali Kağan Yatman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cerrahpasa FK's Kaptan Sabi didn't even have to move. Many of Kesan SK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Kesan SK may have spent more time on the ball, but Cerrahpasa FK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
