Atak Rekin helped the player get up and apologised. 30 minutes into the game, one of Rize:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Ürgüp SK a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ahmet Tolga Tacal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rize's Bumin Uyguralp. 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boran Mengüalp in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İzzet Adar saved Ürgüp SK from getting behind. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ürgüp SK's goalkeeper İzzet Adar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rize's Boran Mengüalp got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Emin Özarı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. İzzet Adar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Boran Mengüalp made the kick off in the second half. Şentürk Akçakıl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bumin Uyguralp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şentürk Akçakıl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bumin Uyguralp having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Boran Mengüalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rize's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boran Mengüalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. İzzet Adar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boran Mengüalp in the 72nd minute of play. Seyrani Gerdaneri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Şentürk Akçakıl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ürgüp SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şentürk Akçakıl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyrani Gerdaneri in the 80th minute of play forced Rize's goalkeeper Bumin Uyguralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şentürk Akçakıl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bumin Uyguralp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Ürgüp SK's goal looked a bit too open when Boran Mengüalp came free, but İzzet Adar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ürgüp SK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
