Gelibolu FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Baki Yeğrek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Ahmet Hayri Cevan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Boran Adaş showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Boğaçhan Özben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Boran Adaş having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boğaçhan Özben in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Boran Adaş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Boran Adaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Baki Yeğrek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Halis Cevahir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Mehmet Halis Cevahir kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oğuzhan Yücelen. That made the score 1-2 in the 86 minute of play. Ahmet Baki Yeğrek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Boran Adaş having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Aydin FK's Mehmet Halis Cevahir ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oğuzhan Yücelen. Oğuzhan Yücelen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3.
