Mustafa Barış Ongu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kalkandere's Birsel Demirağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aybek Tanyeli in the 13th minute of play. Akil Ersal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhami Dalan having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, one of Güzelbahce FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Güzelbahce FK. When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, Kalkandere's Refik Başarman got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of İlhami Dalan. If Aybek Tanyeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Güzelbahce FK's Mithat Kirmanşah in 31 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Birsel Demirağ guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Birsel Demirağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aybek Tanyeli in the 33rd minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Güzelbahce FK's Mithat Kirmanşah made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Birsel Demirağ was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Aybek Tanyeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

A very good chance. When Mustafa Kemal Taki fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Güzelbahce FK's protests and gave Mustafa Kemal Taki a yellow card for diving instead. Mustafa Kemal Taki kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Birsel Demirağ was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Mithat Kirmanşah capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mithat Kirmanşah really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. İlhami Dalan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Günay Rikap in the 66th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Mithat Kirmanşah recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Birsel Demirağ. Mithat Kirmanşah showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesur Akyıldız during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 minutes Güzelbahce FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Refik Başarman who took care of the corner kick. 82 minutes into the game, Mithat Kirmanşah recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Birsel Demirağ. Mithat Kirmanşah showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. İlhami Dalan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Barış Ongu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Güzelbahce FK's Cesur Akyıldız got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Cesur Akyıldız off the ground. A collision led to Güzelbahce FK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Cesur Akyıldız hit a great ball. After 92 minutes Güzelbahce FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Refik Başarman who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Refik Başarman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Güzelbahce FK's İlhami Dalan did a great save. Güzelbahce FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
