Vatan Ergalip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferhan Nurkan having to interfere. Vatan Ergalip struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Ferhan Nurkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Persembe. İlhan Oğuzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Baki Temcit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Vatan Ergalip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Persembe's supporters rose to their feet, but Vatan Ergalip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferhan Nurkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Persembe's Sakut Demirman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 22nd minute, İlhan Oğuzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. İlhan Oğuzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferhan Nurkan having to interfere. Vatan Ergalip's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferhan Nurkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Okan Cenan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niyazi Ulum didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melih Cevdet Şahruh in the 35th minute of play forced Kusadasi's goalkeeper Ferhan Nurkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niyazi Ulum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okan Cenan in the 37th minute of play. Vatan Ergalip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İlhan Oğuzer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Persembe's goalkeeper Niyazi Ulum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. İlhan Oğuzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferhan Nurkan having to interfere. Persembe's Vatan Ergalip got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferhan Nurkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlhan Oğuzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Okan Cenan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Niyazi Ulum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Persembe booed when Kusadasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nafiz Cebeci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kusadasi's Ferhan Nurkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlhan Oğuzer in the 75th minute of play. Ferhan Nurkan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İlhan Oğuzer went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Persembe's Niyazi Ulum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okan Cenan in the 84th minute of play. If Okan Cenan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nafiz Özertem in the 94th minute of play forced Persembe's goalkeeper Niyazi Ulum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Okan Cenan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niyazi Ulum having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
