Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Özgür Canol started the match with the kick off. Aykan Sertuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Sultandagi's Özgür Canol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saruhan Akçakan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Aykan Sertuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Özgür Canol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sultandagi's supporters rose to their feet, but Özgür Canol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saruhan Akçakan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aykan Sertuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Berkan Köklem from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Necaettin Işıldar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Aykan Sertuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aykan Sertuğ was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Sultandagi's Özgür Canol made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saruhan Akçakan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 57 minutes into the match, Sultandagi's goal looked a bit too open when Aykan Sertuğ came free, but Necaettin Işıldar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aykan Sertuğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Necaettin Işıldar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute İzzet Öztanır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necaettin Işıldar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sungurlu's zone, Özgür Canol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saruhan Akçakan came out of the goal and Özgür Canol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Aykan Sertuğ left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sungurlu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The Sultandagi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sultandagi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
