After having played for 60 minutes, Batı Hataylı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hozat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batı Hataylı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rıza Temizer fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Findikli FK's protests and gave Rıza Temizer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Findikli FK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. After 89 minutes of play Hozat's Birkan Yiğithan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Sefa Tuğkun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murat Selim Kanat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
