The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Özdemir İbiş during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Cayeli FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özdemir İbiş to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, Rıza Temizer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celalettin Baltaş. Rıza Temizer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Atacan Alişan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murat Selim Kanat. Findikli FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atacan Alişan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 30 minutes, Atacan Alişan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cayeli FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atacan Alişan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bedri Hekimoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Celalettin Baltaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murat Selim Kanat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atacan Alişan in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atacan Alişan in the 45th minute of play forced Findikli FK's goalkeeper Murat Selim Kanat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayeli FK's Celalettin Baltaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıza Temizer in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rıza Temizer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. During the 51st minute of the match Özdemir İbiş completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Özdemir İbiş a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Findikli FK booed when Cayeli FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özdemir İbiş didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Atacan Alişan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cayeli FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Findikli FK the free kick. In the 60th match minute, Cayeli FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atacan Alişan to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match Ali Macit Doğanlar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celalettin Baltaş showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Umur Sezmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atacan Alişan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murat Selim Kanat having to interfere. Arif Ozan Aydoğdu struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Murat Selim Kanat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cayeli FK. Atacan Alişan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Murat Selim Kanat made a huge save. Anıl Berk Baturalp hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Bedri Hekimoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes of play, Cayeli FK's Arif Ozan Aydoğdu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murat Selim Kanat was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Arif Ozan Aydoğdu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Findikli FK got a freekick which was hit by Anıl Berk Baturalp. Cayeli FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
