After a rather tough play, Afyon's Atahan Hanecioğlu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute of the match Rüştü Kunter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but İstemihan Nafi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hasan Hüseyin Hadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tan Ucatekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İstemihan Nafi having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tan Ucatekin in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İstemihan Nafi saved Afyon from getting behind. After 14 played minutes Afyon got a freekick which was hit by Turabi Kutlucan. Eminönü's Rüştü Kunter couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Afyon. Afyon's İstemihan Nafi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tan Ucatekin in the 16th minute of play. If Hasan Hüseyin Hadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nedim Sidam's late challenge caught a Afyon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nedim Sidam helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Eminönü got a freekick which was hit by Nedim Sidam. After having played for 24 minutes, Tamer Hızır managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Afyon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tamer Hızır was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Afyon booed when Eminönü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nedim Sidam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kunter Hiçyılmaz struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Sezer Canaydin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Afyon. In the 28thth minute of the game Tamer Hızır who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eminönü's Sezer Canaydin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Eminönü getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fazıl Ersalmış hit a great ball. When Tamer Hızır came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Afyon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tamer Hızır couldn't finish the play. After 35 minutes of play Eminönü's Fazıl Ersalmış was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 36 played minutes Eminönü got a freekick which was hit by Fazıl Ersalmış. In the 39th minute Hasan Hüseyin Hadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İstemihan Nafi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İstemihan Nafi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Hüseyin Hadi in the 43rd minute of play. Hasan Hüseyin Hadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 47th minute, Hasan Hüseyin Hadi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

In the 62ndth minute of the game Kunter Hiçyılmaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eminönü's Sezer Canaydin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Hasan Hüseyin Hadi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Afyon's İstemihan Nafi. İstemihan Nafi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hasan Hüseyin Hadi scored 0-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of İstemihan Nafi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 70 minutes, Nedim Sidam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sezer Canaydin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tamer Hızır, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Hasan Hüseyin Hadi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of İstemihan Nafi when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
