Kerem İçkin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hürkan İley in the 11th minute. Kerem İçkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afşar Kutlubay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şemsettin Sarvan took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karhan Canaydin. Karhan Canaydin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Karhan Canaydin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şemsettin Sarvan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 23 minutes of play, Altintas's Şemsettin Sarvan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karhan Canaydin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Basyayla's Afşar Kutlubay got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afşar Kutlubay struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Kerem İçkin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basyayla. 40 minutes into the game, Şemsettin Sarvan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Karhan Canaydin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the match, Basyayla's goal looked a bit too open when Şemsettin Sarvan came free, but Karhan Canaydin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Basyayla's goalkeeper Karhan Canaydin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şemsettin Sarvan made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tansu Işılay got free with Karhan Canaydin in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hürkan İley in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kerem İçkin saved Altintas from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Altintas's Tansu Işılay got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Kerem İçkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hürkan İley in the 64th minute of the match. Olcay Ersed hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Kerem İçkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afşar Kutlubay, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 66 minutes, Mecnun Türkoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altintas and the Basyayla players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Altintas got a freekick which was hit by Mecnun Türkoğlu. In the 68th minute, Hürkan İley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afşar Kutlubay might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kerem İçkin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afşar Kutlubay ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute Afşar Kutlubay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerem İçkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yahya Başkara hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Karhan Canaydin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şemsettin Sarvan in the 76th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Şemsettin Sarvan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karhan Canaydin was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 81st minute of the match Olcay Coşkun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kerem İçkin skillfully saved the ball. Şemsettin Sarvan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afşar Kutlubay scored 1-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kerem İçkin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Basyayla supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Altintas's performance. The match ended with a win for Altintas.
