In the 7th minute, Yunus Demren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12thth minute of the game Ahmet Orhan Tükelay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saraykent's Ahmet Kağan Bedi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmet Kağan Bedi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Münir Elfaz in the 20th minute of the match. Saraykent's Ahmet Kağan Bedi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Orhan Tükelay in the 22nd minute of play. Ahirkapi's Kürşat Özyurek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yunus Demren in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Feridun Özakın had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kürşat Özyurek. Ahirkapi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feridun Özakın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Saraykent's zone, Münir Elfaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Kağan Bedi came out of the goal and Münir Elfaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feridun Özakın could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Kürşat Özyurek made a huge save. İlmi Yaşer charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed İlmi Yaşer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. İlmi Yaşer kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yunus Demren made a kick off. Kürşat Özyurek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feridun Özakın in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ahirkapi's İlmi Yaşer got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Yunus Demren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Orhan Tükelay in the 61st minute of play forced Saraykent's goalkeeper Ahmet Kağan Bedi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Yunus Demren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kürşat Özyurek was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Kağan Bedi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulki Tüzeman in the 83rd minute of play forced Saraykent's goalkeeper Ahmet Kağan Bedi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kürşat Özyurek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yunus Demren in the 84th minute of the match. Yunus Demren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Saraykent's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ahirkapi the free kick. In the 88th minute, Yunus Demren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Ahmet Kağan Bedi managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Ahirkapi's Münir Elfaz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kürşat Özyurek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feridun Özakın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yunus Demren in the 97th minute of play forced Ahirkapi's goalkeeper Kürşat Özyurek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Saraykent fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ahirkapi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
