If Mehmet Hakkı Sadir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by İskender Baki Sarper in the 22nd minute of play forced Beyagac FK's goalkeeper Kılıçalp Kaçkar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kılıçalp Kaçkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İskender Baki Sarper, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Beyagac FK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Asım Olgunsu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by İskender Baki Sarper in the 27th minute of play forced Beyagac FK's goalkeeper Kılıçalp Kaçkar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasım Afgan hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Beyagac FK's Akşemseddin Dokuzer got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kılıçalp Kaçkar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İskender Baki Sarper's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 39th match minute, Beyagac FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Refik Halit Tengiroğlu to maneuver through the defense. Erol İşcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İskender Baki Sarper to make the kick off. The Karkamis supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Karkamis would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
