Kartal Tutku stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seyfettin Öge's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyfettin Öge in the 30th minute of play forced Beylerbeyi FK's goalkeeper Kartal Tutku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kartal Tutku didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kocaali JK. Kocaali JK's Poyraz Ceberut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mecnun Özçelik in the 44th minute of play. If Seyfettin Öge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kağan Akman to make the kick off. Yavuz Selimhan Arkan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Kartal Tutku made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oktay Tuğkan in the 57th minute. Mecnun Özçelik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Poyraz Ceberut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kartal Tutku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kağan Akman in the 76th minute of play. Beylerbeyi FK's Korcan Ağca got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Korcan Ağca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 87 minutes, Mecnun Özçelik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beylerbeyi FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mecnun Özçelik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seyfettin Öge got free with Kartal Tutku in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Beylerbeyi FK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ataman Ziver hit a great ball. Kocaali JK's Seyfettin Öge got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kartal Tutku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kağan Akman in the 95th minute of play. If Seyfettin Öge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
