An unexpectedly hard shot by İzzet Aksun in the 27th minute of play forced Turgutlu's goalkeeper Menderes Reca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Menderes Reca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İzzet Aksun in the 36th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, İzzet Aksun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Menderes Reca. İzzet Aksun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 48th minute of the match, Abdullatif Kılıçaslan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Menderes Reca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Emrah Daim was the one to do the kick off. Güntekin Arısal hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Turgutlu's goal looked a bit too open when İzzet Aksun came free, but Menderes Reca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mustafa Ali Aktay fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turgutlu's protests and gave Mustafa Ali Aktay a yellow card for diving instead. If Mehmet Emrah Daim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. Durmuş Uluçs short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Altuğ Tara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by İzzet Aksun in the 96th minute of play forced Turgutlu's goalkeeper Menderes Reca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
