Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yakup Okaner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolga Ucatekin's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Beyazit's Sarper Deveci got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aşık Zihni hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Sarper Deveci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beyazit's supporters rose to their feet, but Sarper Deveci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yakup Okaner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Sarper Deveci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yakup Okaner. Gürsu FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sarper Deveci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Korkutalp Zülfikar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuh Hızarcı having to interfere. Tolga Ucatekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakup Okaner having to interfere. In the 38th minute Sarper Deveci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yakup Okaner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Köksal Korcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Beyazit were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Korkutalp Zülfikar was the one to do the kick off. Sarper Deveci succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 57th playminute. Ahmet Korkut Visali hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Beyazit's Yakup Okaner threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tolga Ucatekin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Tolga Ucatekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Tolga Ucatekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beyazit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tolga Ucatekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yakup Okaner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolga Ucatekin's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Sarper Deveci scored 0-5 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yakup Okaner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Beyazit's Tolga Ucatekin in the 88th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Yakup Okaner was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Gürsu FK through an amazing save. Engin Behzat's late challenge caught a Gürsu FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Engin Behzat helped the player get up and apologised. Beyazit's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
