Recep Dersu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cevher Aktaşlı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute Cevher Aktaşlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Recep Dersu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Nedim Altunç got free with Temel Taib in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Ahmet Nedim Altunç dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Temel Taib, 1-0. The supporters of Giresun JK booed when Viransehir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boğaç Yalınç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viransehir's Recep Dersu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mesut Taşcan in the 18th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Altan Dündar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Giresun JK and the Viransehir players grew even worse after the yellow card. Boğaç Yalınç charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hilmi Yanar made a kick off. After some careless play in the Giresun JK defense, Ahmet Nedim Altunç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Temel Taib. The Giresun JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Temel Taib should have stopped the shot. In the 60th match minute, Viransehir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürsel Mecnun to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Giresun JK's Mesut Taşcan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Recep Dersu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mesut Taşcan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Recep Dersu made a huge save. 76 minutes into the game, Behiç Hidayet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Giresun JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viransehir the free kick. After 76 played minutes Giresun JK got a freekick which was hit by Behiç Hidayet. When Baran Alp Güngör fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viransehir's protests and gave Baran Alp Güngör a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Viransehir's Baran Alp Güngör got a free kick in the 80th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Giresun JK's Mesut Taşcan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Recep Dersu. That made the score 2-3 after 81 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Alkın Olgun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Giresun JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alkın Olgun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Recep Dersu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Recep Dersu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mesut Taşcan in the 87th minute. If Behiç Hidayet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Viransehir. The Viransehir fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Giresun JK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
