The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Pekin Temizalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yağızalp Rasim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute Tümer Özdoğal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cuma Arslanşah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melik Budaklı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cuma Arslanşah having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tümer Özdoğal in the 14th minute of play forced Yayladagi FK's goalkeeper Cuma Arslanşah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tümer Özdoğal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cuma Arslanşah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yayladagi FK's Cuma Arslanşah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Yayladagi FK from getting a goal against them. After 21 played minutes Yayladagi FK got a freekick which was hit by Sungurbey Bayramoğlu. Cuma Arslanşah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tümer Özdoğal in the 25th minute of the match. Özdemir Baykut lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 34 minutes into the game, one of Yayladagi FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tümer Özdoğal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 39th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Cifteler SK's zone, Ahmet Göktuğ Şemseddin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yağızalp Rasim came out of the goal and Ahmet Göktuğ Şemseddin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melik Budaklı's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Cuma Arslanşah skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Kuddusî Uğurtay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cifteler SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kuddusî Uğurtay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cuma Arslanşah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cifteler SK's Sezen Hazer got a free kick in the 57th minute. Yayladagi FK's Hafız Nasreddin got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ahmet Göktuğ Şemseddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, Cifteler SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuddusî Uğurtay to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Göktuğ Şemseddin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Cifteler SK's Yağızalp Rasim got control of the ball when Ahmet Göktuğ Şemseddin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cifteler SK's Yağızalp Rasim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Cifteler SK from getting a goal against them. After having played for 87 minutes, Ahmet Ozan Onar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yayladagi FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Ozan Onar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 minutes of play, Cifteler SK's Tümer Özdoğal made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cuma Arslanşah was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cifteler SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
