In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Halkapinar SK's goalkeeper Vacid Türkşen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Erdem Yerlikaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Halkapinar SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erdem Yerlikaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cüneyd Tunçkol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Aytek Neşat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kılıçalp Şömel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Honaz FK's Boğaçhan Tümkut in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
