Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Işık Selmi took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Güray Oray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 4th minute, Garip Soyurgal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batuğ Şafakoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şimşek Yürükoğlu having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Işık Selmi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Genclerbirligi's Ali Nejat Zorlu. Ali Nejat Zorlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Güray Oray charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Güray Oray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cerkes JK booed when Genclerbirligi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güray Oray didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Cerkes JK got a freekick which was hit by Süruri Toprak. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Genclerbirligi! Ali Nejat Zorlu went to the wrong direction when Fethi Olgunsu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ali Nejat Zorlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Arıkal, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Süruri Toprak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cerkes JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Genclerbirligi the free kick. Süruri Toprak hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ali Nejat Zorlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Arıkal in the 31st minute of play. When Cerkes JK's Işık Selmi in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Genclerbirligi's goalie prevented a goal. Batuğ Şafakoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Süruri Toprak kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Batuğ Şafakoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Genclerbirligi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Batuğ Şafakoğlu couldn't finish the play. Ali Nejat Zorlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Arıkal in the 47th minute of the match. Atay Şahinkan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Cerkes JK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Güray Oray to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Cerkes JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüseyin Rahmi Arıkal to maneuver through the defense. Batuğ Şafakoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fethi Olgunsu fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerkes JK's protests and gave Fethi Olgunsu a yellow card for diving instead. Fethi Olgunsu kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Güray Oray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şimşek Yürükoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Işık Selmi in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Nejat Zorlu saved Genclerbirligi from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Genclerbirligi's goal looked a bit too open when Işık Selmi came free, but Ali Nejat Zorlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cerkes JK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Işık Selmi hit a great ball. İhsan Öktüre hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes Genclerbirligi got a freekick which was hit by Taci Onursu. Güray Oray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Şimşek Yürükoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 minutes, Batuğ Şafakoğlu made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cerkes JK's Şimşek Yürükoğlu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güray Oray in the 94th minute of play forced Cerkes JK's goalkeeper Şimşek Yürükoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
