Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Güray Oray took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Batuğ Şafakoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Genclerbirligi's supporters rose to their feet, but Batuğ Şafakoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duman Nedret breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duman Nedret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Güray Oray's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Duman Nedret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batuğ Şafakoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Nejat Zorlu made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Gencay Kılıçalp sent off a good shot on target. Batuğ Şafakoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Duman Nedret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Nejat Zorlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Gökalp Şanver in the 22nd minute of play. Batuğ Şafakoğlu struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Duman Nedret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Genclerbirligi. Duman Nedret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batuğ Şafakoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Karahalli's goal looked a bit too open when Batuğ Şafakoğlu came free, but Duman Nedret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Ahmet Gökalp Şanver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Nejat Zorlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duman Nedret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güray Oray, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Genclerbirligi's Batuğ Şafakoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duman Nedret narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 84 played minutes, Karahalli's Hasan Oncubay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ali Nejat Zorlu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Karahalli reached it. Ahmet Gökalp Şanver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Nejat Zorlu having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gencay Kılıçalp in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Nejat Zorlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Karahalli supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Genclerbirligi's performance. The match ended with a win for Genclerbirligi.
