Songur Mürsel might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nafiz Arkan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Songur Mürsel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute, one of Adapazari:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Adapazari. Nafiz Arkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Recep Binışık, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arkın Sıraç in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ensar Uzgoren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Recep Binışık received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. If Arkın Sıraç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
