With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hami Denizer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Caybasi's zone, Korkut Okergun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hami Denizer came out of the goal and Korkut Okergun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Korkut Okergun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Ahmet Ege Tarab notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pinarbasi JK's Savaş Reyyan. Savaş Reyyan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when İsmail Yelmen got free with Savaş Reyyan in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
