The referee showed Aytunç İpek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ermenek getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Aytunç İpek hit a great ball. Üzeyir Beyhan came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Ego FK's Atay Şemsifer. But to his dismay, Atay Şemsifer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Ego FK's goalkeeper Remzi Tun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dündar Özgenay. Ego FK's Hacı Ali Savtuna got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ermenek's Üzeyir Beyhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baki Eroğul in the 24th minute of play. When %teams%'s Ahmet Rıfat Tacik was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 27 minutes into the game. Remzi Tun was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Dündar Özgenay could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Remzi Tun however easily saved by the left post. Ünsal Topdemir hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Remzi Tun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Rıfat Tacik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ünsal Topdemir kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. A collision led to Ermenek getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Cevdet Kutsalmis hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Rıfat Tacik to make the kick off. Ego FK's Remzi Tun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dündar Özgenay in the 54th minute of play. Ahmet Rıfat Tacik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remzi Tun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Ahmet Rıfat Tacik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Remzi Tun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Ahmet Rıfat Tacik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remzi Tun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ünsal Topdemir kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes, Ermenek's Cevdet Kutsalmis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Remzi Tun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ermenek reached it. After 74 played minutes Ego FK got a freekick which was hit by Turan Şömel. When Dündar Özgenay came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ermenek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dündar Özgenay couldn't finish the play. Dündar Özgenay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ünsal Topdemir kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Ermenek got a freekick which was hit by Cevdet Kutsalmis.
