The supporters of Ermenek booed when Sürüc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hayri Köker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dündar Özgenay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hazım Seyhan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sürüc's Sait Özek got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Rıfat Tacik in the 27th minute of play forced Sürüc's goalkeeper Hazım Seyhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hazım Seyhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Rıfat Tacik in the 29th minute of the match. The Ermenek fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Ermenek's Dündar Özgenay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aytunç İpek's late challenge caught a Sürüc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aytunç İpek helped the player get up and apologised. Aytunç İpek hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Güral Tecelli sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ermenek's Üzeyir Beyhan didn't even have to move. Arslan Toralp hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Rıfat Tacik to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Ahmet Rıfat Tacik tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hazım Seyhan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 56 minutes, Dündar Özgenay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ermenek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dündar Özgenay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute of the match Musa İnanır shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hazım Seyhan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 66th match minute, Sürüc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sait Özek to maneuver through the defense. Üzeyir Beyhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hayri Köker in the 70th minute of play. If Ahmet Rıfat Tacik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ermenek's Ahmet Rıfat Tacik in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paşa Akçal in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Üzeyir Beyhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Seyfettin Demirtaş kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
