Sümer Vefi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Tuğrul Tümcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Tuğrul Tümcan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Gündogmus SK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Sedat Tahsin hit a great ball. Sümer Vefi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tuğrul Tümcan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Tuğrul Tümcan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sümer Vefi in the 15th minute. A collision led to Gündogmus SK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ahmet Rıfat Benli hit a great ball. Sümer Vefi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kasım Kartay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Mustafa Necati Yöntem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silivri JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gündogmus SK the free kick. Cankut Akaydın might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tuğrul Tümcan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cankut Akaydın ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Kasım Kartay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gündogmus SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kasım Kartay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferit Melik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 36 minutes, Sümer Vefi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silivri JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sümer Vefi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Cankut Akaydın in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With his leg Tuğrul Tümcan managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Silivri JK's Sümer Vefi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Keramettin Şahbazoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cankut Akaydın was the one to do the kick off. Halil İbrahim Ural charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Halil İbrahim Ural the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Halil İbrahim Ural hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cankut Akaydın in the 54th minute of play forced Gündogmus SK's goalkeeper Tuğrul Tümcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keramettin Şahbazoğlu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ferit Melik made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Kasım Kartay sent off a good shot on target. Silivri JK's Sümer Vefi got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute Sümer Vefi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuğrul Tümcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cankut Akaydın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tuğrul Tümcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Çakabey Eryetiş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sümer Vefi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuğrul Tümcan having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Cankut Akaydın cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tuğrul Tümcan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Keramettin Şahbazoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Gündogmus SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keramettin Şahbazoğlu couldn't finish the play. Kasım Kartay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferit Melik having to interfere. In the 90th minute Keramettin Şahbazoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferit Melik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasım Kartay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
