With a little luck, Ostim SK's Ahmet Nedim Tengiz got control of the ball when Kuddusî Urhan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ostim SK's Başaran Payidar got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Kuddusî Urhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uygur Türkyılmaz struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Ahmet Nedim Tengiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kayserispor. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Kuddusî Urhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Nedim Tengiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kuddusî Urhan ran back to his position shaking his head. If Umur Şakir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st match minute, Ostim SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Başaran Payidar to maneuver through the defense. If Uygur Türkyılmaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
