A collision led to Mut JK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Arif Topçay hit a great ball. Gürkan Uzhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Haydar Yertan in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Tokatspor FK's Menderes Savaş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anıl Berk Atikoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Aykan Nedim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Menderes Savaş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mut JK's Anıl Berk Atikoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Haydar Yertan in the 30th minute of play forced Tokatspor FK's goalkeeper Gürkan Uzhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st of the match, Ali Haydar Yertan tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Gürkan Uzhan got in the way and made a wonderful save. Anıl Berk Atikoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menderes Savaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Şenol Batırhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gürkan Uzhan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Haydar Yertan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 43 minute of play. Aykan Nedim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Haydar Yertan to make the kick off. Mut JK's Aykan Nedim got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ali Haydar Yertan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mut JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Haydar Yertan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gürkan Uzhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hurşit Neşat hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ali Haydar Yertan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürkan Uzhan having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Aykan Nedim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gürkan Uzhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 67th minute, Menderes Savaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gürkan Uzhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Haydar Yertan in the 72nd minute of the match. Gürkan Uzhan came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mut JK's Aykan Nedim. But to his dismay, Aykan Nedim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Menderes Savaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mut JK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
