But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aytuğ Özkul couldn't finish the play. Doğukan Nesip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aytuğ Özkul in the 8th minute of the match. After 10 minutes, Okanay Azimoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kütahyaspor SK and the Selcuk players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kütahyaspor SK's Okanay Azimoğlu got a free kick in the 10th minute. Doğukan Nesip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aytuğ Özkul in the 16th minute of play. If Aytuğ Özkul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aytuğ Özkul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğukan Nesip having to interfere. Aytuğ Özkul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Doğukan Nesip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doğukan Nesip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aytuğ Özkul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Selcuk booed when Kütahyaspor SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Arif Yıldırımtürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Efe Akçan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Kütahyaspor SK's Çetin Oksar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doğukan Nesip narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cebrail Tümerdem in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Tolga Onurkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aytuğ Özkul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doğukan Nesip read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. If Cebrail Tümerdem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mehmet Efe Akçan made the kick off in the second half. Doğukan Nesip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aytuğ Özkul in the 52nd minute of play. Cebrail Tümerdem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doğukan Nesip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aytuğ Özkul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Keramettin Asalet during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Keramettin Asalet kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 73rd minute when Aytuğ Özkul elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ahmet Tolga Onurkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cebrail Tümerdem in the 79th minute of the match. Cebrail Tümerdem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cebrail Tümerdem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Tolga Onurkan having to make a save. In the 90th minute Mehmet Efe Akçan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Tolga Onurkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 minutes, Savaş Kuray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Selcuk and the Kütahyaspor SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Çetin Oksar struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Doğukan Nesip didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kütahyaspor SK. Kütahyaspor SK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
